This lovely oak longcase clock would be an impressive addition to a hallway. It was made in the 1820s by William Evans. The oak case is inlaid with crossbanded mahogany, and the hood has inlaid boxwood stringing. The clock movement is an 8 day movement and is unusual in that it has a counterweighted minute hand.
