A fVictorian walnut upholstered double stool. This beautiful piece dates to around 1880. It has carved walnut feet. The sprung stool has been recently re-upholstered in Linwood fabric (Duck Egg check), which is fire retardant. This stool could stand in the middle of a room, but would also make a lovely window seat.

A fine quality mahogany library bookcase in lovely condition. Dating from the William lV period (1830-1837), it retains its original float glass and has an excellent colour and patina. A pretty work table with hinged circular top opening to reveal a velvet lined interior. The work box has its lock and key. The table is set on a spiral support on a tripod base. This piece is carved out of Pollard Oak, and was made in around 1860.

Set of four red walnut antique dining or side chairs, gothic revival

A good quality set of four gothic revival dining chairs dating to around 1880, that could also be used as side, or hall chairs. The frames are constructed of red walnut and have a green man carving on the back rail. They have been newly upholstered from the frame up and covered in a quality tartan material.

Long window seat, original tapestry.

An impressive long walnut window seat dating from circa 1880. The six carved cabriole legs joined with shaped carved rails. The upholstered seat retains its original tapestry cover which has been repaired over the years and although it remains delicate, it is usable with care. The tapestry depicts a hunting scene at the centre surrounded by floral border.

A rosewood canterbury with single drawer, having nicely turned drawer knobs, standing on turned legs with brass castors. This canterbury dates to the early Victorian era, circa 1840.

A solid 1880s golden oak dining table and eight chairs.The table was re-polished 20-30 years ago and is an even colour throughout. There are some character marks that don't detract from its beauty. The chairs are in good condition and upholstered in a quality hide: again there is the odd mark, but nothing to detract.

A fine quality 19th century turned walnut Canterbury. Dating from the circa 1850, it is a lovely example of the wood turners art. It still retains its original castors. The colour and finish is excellent.

A lovely rosewood library chair dating from around 1830. With its twisted rosewood dowel design supporting the back rail and its small proportions, this is a rare antique chair. The quality of the construction is excellent. We have upholstered it with horse-hair seat pad with leather cover.
