A fine example of a silver pig paperweight by the well renowned silversmiths Sampson Mordan & Co Ltd. The cast silver pig is well detailed and bears a clear Chester hallmark for 1906 on its hind leg and the makers maker on its front leg. The loaded base on which it stands is in good condition but the hallmark is rubbed.
These are a lovely pair of Edwardian silver casters - 1902. The baluster shape is probably the most popular form and single examples are plentiful; however finding a matching pair is more difficult and these are a fine twosome. These pepper pots are hallmarked to the fronts, and also appropriately marked with lion passant and date letter to the pierced covers. They are in good condition, with a couple of minor knocks to one shaker
A nice George III bright cut solid sterling silver shell bowl caddy spoon hallmarked for London 1795 by John Blake It measures 7.5 cm long, 3.4 cm across the bowl and weighs 7.5 g In overall good condition, but does have a split to the reverse. It looks as though this happened in the making of the spoon, and does not show at the front.
A sterling silver and blue enamel stamp case with gilt interior in the form of a book, by Crisford & Norris, Birmingham, 1908. The case has a hanging loop attached.
An attractive hinged lid Sterling silver vesta case with a blank cartouche to the sides surrounded by relief foliate designs. Striker to the base. Marked Sterling to the inside lip. In overall good condition, no holes. Dating to the earlier part of the 20th century.
A pair of solid silver Asparagus tongs in good condition. Very pretty detail and nice shape. They were made by the well known company of Walker & Hall, and are hallmarked Sheffield 1895
