Four Edinburgh crystal goblets

Four fine quality Edinburgh crystal goblets. Three are vintage with the oval 'Edinburgh Made in Scotland' mark etched to the base (used from 1955 until the 1980s), the fourth which is to the right of the picture has the more modern mark Edinburgh Crystal in uppercase letters.The goblets measure Fine condition, barely used.

Gentleman's triple wardrobe or compactum

A victorian triple wardrobe, also known as a compactum. It has three doors, the outer two with carved friezes. The central door is mirrored, with a curved frieze above. Inside you will find 4 linen shelves above two small and two large drawers. These drawers have lovely quality brass handles. The left hand door houses hanging space above a lift up lid which would originally have housed the chamber pot, but would be a very useful space for shoes. This walnut wardrobe is a lovely rich colour.

Bramah despatch box

A characterful despatch tin with lock and keys by the famous Bramah lock makers. It is painted black with a blue interior, scratches to the paintwork commensurate with age.It has white initial W.B to the front, and a carrying handle to the top. Inside the tin there is a brass plaque which says '100 New Bond St. Bramah & Co lock & Despatch box manufacturers to his majesty the king'. The lock itself is also marked 'J.T Needs 100 New Bond St Late J.Bramah 100 Picadilly'. These marks date it to between 1904 and 1918. The lock works fine, and there are 2 keys with it. It would make a great decorators piece

Burr walnut cakestand

The stand consists of three 24cm burr walnut decks and is perfect for displaying and presenting afternoon tea. The piece folds flat in seconds. Overall this stand is in good condition with fine colour and classic style.

Large mahogany chest of drawers.

A handsome large early Victorian mahogany chest of drawers of good colour. It has two short above four long graduated drawers,raised on fluted feet. In good original condition.


Bobbin turned chair

A lovely victorian bobbin turned chair, currently in need of a little work and re-upholstery. Good quality craftsmanship.

Oak blanket box

A nice solid oak blanket box dating to around 1840. It stands on bracket feet and has a metal carrying handle at either side. Also a metal escucheon. There is a slight gap between the boards on the lid, not a split in the wood, just slight movement where two boards were joined
